A FAMILY ROAD-TRIP
Exploring Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way
Emma was the consummate travel advisor for our family trip to the Irish Wild Atlantic Way and Dublin.
She started with a wish list of what we’d like to see/do/get out of our trip. Our 20 year olds wanted to climb the highest peaks and hold a baby lamb. My husband and I wanted unique experiences, beautiful landscapes, and lovely places to stay and eat. Emma created and arranged an itinerary with all these things and more.
We loved our time in beautiful Galway, and our stay at an adorable bed and breakfast right on the canal. Our falconry experience and afternoon tea at Ashford Castle, Cong was definitely a highlight! The guides she lined up for us for the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and Dingle’s Slea Head drive were all fantastic.
Every place we stayed was a wonderful, unique experience.
One of our favorites was Cahernane House, a lovely boutique hotel in Killarney, where we stayed for 3 nights enjoying the park, hiking, horseback riding and absorbing the immense beauty there.
The boys climbed Carantoohil while my daughter and I hiked and boated the Gap of Dunloe.
We finished our travels in Dublin where we celebrated Bloomsday, which coincided with my daughter’s birthday. Yet again, the hotels, dinners and experiences Emma curated were impeccable and perfect for our family.
It was a whirlwind of a trip as there is so much to see and do in Ireland. But Emma helped make all the planning both manageable and curated perfectly for our family.”
